Questions
Common questions
Is a will made through Willful legally valid?
Yes. Wills made through Willful are fully legally valid UK wills, provided they are correctly signed and witnessed. Our solicitor review ensures your will meets all requirements of the Wills Act 1837.
What happens during the solicitor review?
A qualified UK solicitor reads your complete will draft. They check for legal compliance, clarity of expression, potential ambiguities, and any capacity concerns. They may request changes before approving.
How long does the solicitor review take?
We aim to complete all reviews within 48 hours on business days. Most are completed sooner. You'll receive an email notification when your review is complete.
Can I update my will later?
Yes. You can return to Willful at any time to create a new will or add a codicil. We recommend reviewing your will after major life events — marriage, divorce, new children, significant asset changes.
What if I have a complex estate?
Our Complex Estate tier is designed for larger or more complicated situations — multiple properties, business interests, trusts, or international assets. If your situation requires it, we'll let you know during the interview.
